Subject: "Hidden" roster group in 0.12-RC1
Well, that's it: I have some bots in "Hidden" group, but in Psi 0.12-RC1 (to be exact, compiled from SVN today) @ ArchLinux (QT 4.3.3) "Show hidden" button seems not to work. Don't know what to add (-:E

I'm logged in also with Psi 0.10-r3 @ Gentoo desktop machine and there Hidden group is toggled properly with the same account. Still, I had this problem on this ArchLinux notebook with Psi 0.11, but hoped that problem was in some specific patches.

Any suggestions, please? (-:E

It's like that:

  • "Hidden" group allows you to hide yourself from those contacts who are in it.
  • "Show hidden" button toggles between showing and hiding those contacts who are offline (or appear as such to you).

So, clicking "Show hidden" will not toggle visibility of the contacts in "Hidden" group or "Hidden" group itself.

Hm... I thought behaviour described in Wiki is preserved

Still I think that in 0.12-RC1 under Win visibility is toggled with this button. I'll try it this evening

Blah, ignore my first post. :)

Please remember that if "Show hidden" button is depressed and all contacts within group are offline, then the group is not shown.

Well, if button is pressed, then group shouldn't be shown in any case, should it? Despite all the online contacts in it

And yes, Psi 0.12-RC1 under WinXP SP2 works fine

do you use Interface translation?
I have 2 computer (home and work), on home computer I install interface translation, on work - do not. And now 'hidden' group have different names on home and work PCs. It cause problems with 'Show hidden' button

Indeed!
After moving *.qm file elsewhere Hidden group could be hidden again (-:E

Should I report this case as a bug? Seems quite buggy to me (-:E
