Subject: libjingle - How to change a call sender name
Hi,
I'm trying to find a way to set a string somewhere that will be shown as the identity of caller (instead of the default - the user name) in call receiver side.

Thanks

I'm afraid I don't understand exactly what you're asking.

I guess that means that when you try to perform a call, recipient's Psi identifies sender by 'Caller name' string that can differ from 'User name'

Hey, how about merging jingle branch with nightly builds to speed things up and let more people test it? It's like three years that jingle is being developed in psi now? Perhaps that would finally allow jingle support in next stable release?

For your information, there is no Psi-Jingle branch anymore - it has been merged with Psi mainline a long time ago, during the development of Psi-0.11.

Well if it was merged with psi mainline shouldn't it be at least in nightly builds?

You have to configure with a special configure script. Jingle is not supported so you don't want to do that.

Just like Albert said - there are two scripts for configuring sources - one, called configure, for normal configuration, and the other, called configure-jingle, for configuration of Jingle support (as well as the other options available in configure script).

But has anyone recently succeed doing it?
