Subject: Psi 0.10 Beta 1 for OS/2 is available
Psi 0.10 Beta 1 for OS/2 and eComStation has been released.

There are three types of packages available for downloading:

Installer  (5082 KB)
WarpIn package (4310 KB)
Zip archive (4412 KB)

Here is the list of current limitations of Beta 1 comparing to versions of Psi 0.10 for other platforms:

1.  Using the PM Default Browser/Mail choice for opening links doesn't
work yet. The Custom browser setting requires a command like
    'cmd /c cd D:\Apps\Firefox & D:\Apps\Firefox\Firefox.exe'.

2.  SSL connection is not yet implemented.

3.  PGP encryption is completely untested and probably will not work.

4.  The global hot keys are not available.

5.  Idle (i.e. Auto-Away) detection may not work properly.

6.  The directory watcher service is not available (though I don't yet know
what is it good for in Psi).

7.  There is no "tray icon" (xCenter widget) for Psi. It will be available
    later.

8.  Power management events such as "sleep" or "wakeup" are not detected by Psi.

9.  Drag and Drop support in Qt/OS2 is not yet finished, so there are few
known issues (for example, text in entry fields may be corrupted when the
drag object is moved over them).

10. The "Roster window always on top" option is temporarily removed from the
options dialog because this functionality is not yet available in Qt/OS2.

You can find more details at http://svn.netlabs.org/qt3/ticket/25.

Looking at the comments on your site, I'm a little suprised there's so many OS/2 users still out there, let alone interested in Psi (although everyone should be interested in Psi ;)).

Thanks for this port :)

Wow, I thought I had closed new thread posting to Admins only.  Oh well.  Good post, I approve anyway.  :)

dmik, can you please update our webpage address in your link above?  We are at psi-im.org, not psi.affinix.com.

At http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/answer.py?answer=2… you're also at psi.affinix.com if it's that important.
