do the same as http://forum.glue.g-blog.net/index.php?s=&c=7?
The Authors page pulls an image from a php script on another server. I've contacted the admins about getting a copy of their code, but they've basically told me that I can link to theirs. If you can implement a similar thing in-house, I'm more than happy to use it. In fact, your bot sounds simply wonderful. I currently have four bots on my roster, but only two show online. Perhaps you can make your bot appear as "offline", in an effort to keep the roster less cluttered. Having a web interface to decide which posts it notifies you about would be preferrable to sending it commands.Yes, that's what I had in mind. I'm also curious as to your current status indicator for the author's. I assume it's a bot that keeps track of status in a database?
Also, should the configuration interface for the bot be on a webpage, or configured by talking to the bot, or, dare I say, both?
