I really need to take time to translate it in french  <_<

I'll get all the html pages and do the job sometime  :P

edit : what is the best one the English or yours in Dutch?

edit2 : yours as I see that the english one does'nt have all, for example for the "installation part"

I suggest you take the (English) Docbook XML sources and translate those. But of course, if you prefer to translate the HTML, you can do that. ;-)

The source tarball can be found here. Extract and translate! :-)
If you have never used Docbook before and you want some help, I can suggest the following websites:

ok, thanks, I'll have a look at all of that :)

I'm now on Mandrake 10.1 so it will be easier I think because I see some packages with urpmi.

Well, you don't have to compile the sources yourself. If you want, I can do that for you, that isn't a problem. :-)
Not that it takes much time, but it can be quite a lot of work if you haven't done it before...

so I just need to translate the few .xml files and the many html files in the tar.bz2 ? and I don't translate the apa* ones as it's for the licence?

when compiling you can specify the language? And why the english and your dutch page are so different in stylesheet?

No, you only need to translate the XML files. Then those files are "parsed" and then the HTML-files are generated. So you don't have to translate the HTML-files.

Yes. You have to specify the language code ("fr", "nl", "en", etc) in psi.xml. There you can find the following code:
<book lang="en">

And why the english and your dutch page are so different in stylesheet?
I first translated the documentation of kNiGiTs to Dutch (I translated the HTML). I then adapted the lay-out.
Then I converted the old documentation to the Docbook format. Docbook makes it easier to create consistent documentation. That's why the Dutch documentation seems different... :-)
