Nice to see it in use actually. :)

It's yet very young, so please report any issues you have with it.

I suppose it might be a good idea to use SSL on a page like this, which requires password input.

One usability comment just now:

It's not clear what the none/to/from/both would do if I put a + in front of a line.  My guess is it's ignored, but help text might be good either way.

Ah, here it is.

Lines with a "-" will be removed from your roster. The server should handle removing subscriptions then.
Lines with a "+" will be added to your roster. On duplicate, the contact with that jid should be updated.
When a contact gets added or updated, only adding subscriptions will be performed in the current version. I'm currently updating it to refelct the correct state after adding or update, meaning the contact will have the exact given abonnement status after the update. If you say "none", it'll be "none".

Btw, it seems pre-accepting an auth request is a rather uneffective thing. Why doesn't that work? If I add someone to my roster, that person normally has "none" subscription. If I want them to have "both", I have to send out an auth request and accept the other side's auth request. But the other one will probably only send a request after they have accepted mine, and what I accepted in advance is useless. I want the server to remember that I want to auth that contact and handle that without my notice then. Is this explicitly disallowed by XMPP?

New jru-php version will be available on my site in a few moments.

Ehm, OK, updated now. Could you please check if it works for you? I can't get or update my roster anymore. Somehow the page won't load. I have no idea why.

Dropping subscription worked, but as I wanted to add it again, it returned with "none" subscription, on reload it was "to" (because I accepted it on the other account) and changing it to "both" (to accept the back request) never returned. That was the last thing I've seen from it. :( My primary account also doesn't show its roster to jru-php anymore.

Update: Sorry: http://unclassified.de/jru-php/

I wrote a php script that will take the roster list from the JRU and sanitize it a bit.  It makes nicknames for contacts without one, and capitalizes the first letter of all nicknames.  The only problem I have, is the JRU doesn't seem to be updating any changes I make.  If I rename the nick for a contact in Psi, the JRU will fetch that update, but if I make the update in the JRU, no change gets pushed to Psi.  Anyway, let me know if it's a problem with my script.

Why don't you take PHP JRU and build your features into it?

I'm working on that right now.  Though, as much as I can tell, JRU isn't actually working other than the + or - commands.  No other changes made to the roster get put back.  Though I haven't had a chance to test if that's just the jabber server I'm using or not.

Not sure if you knew, but re-adding (with "+") a jid to your roster updates the present one. Obviously the jid is the primary key in your roster and thus unique.

Subject: Transport infos
Hi,
I already ask this feature for Psi a long time ago, I think it could be also useful here :
Is it possible to display (and therefore modify) user transport information, I always forget my AIM, Y!, MSN,... nickname, it could be great to recover them here, no ?

Psi cannot know that information, except if the transport puts it in your VCard. So we can't really do that i'm affraid.

Subject: ...
I seem to be unable to access my Google Talk roster,... not even by adding ':5223' or ':5222'... or switching Jabber servers from gmail to talk.google.com.

Anyone know a workaround?

-- Edit --

Btw, editing users from a transport will leave their nicknames untouched,... right? (as long as I don't change the order??)
