Can someone please explain "Psi Kicks" to me? I don't quite get its meaning other than a rather generic "Psi is great"...

Psychics
Which brings us to the slightly more sexist "Meet Psi-chicks" slogan :)

Yeah, Psi kick is phonetically the same as Psichic, so it's a play on words.

Psychics
Aaah! OK then. I'm still pronouncing "Psi" the non-english way... [psi], not [psai] or even [sai] (as stated on the website).

A bit Off Topic
I know that Psi is not an acronym, but... P.S.I.: Positronic Synthetic Individual :)

Psychics
I actually wasn't thinking of Psychics but rather "Psi kicks butt", or any of several other nouns.

Ok, here's the word from on high:

- One official slogan: Psi: Kicks for Communication
- The button version: Psi Kicks (or maybe Psi Kicks!)
- We can have as many unofficial slogans and buttons as people contribute.  I think a user-contributed artwork page is in order.

There were some voting and ego ideas on the psi-devel mailing list that I'm also going to think about.

P.S. I think the official credit goes to Clytie.  :)

That was the _other_ interpretation. That's what's so cool about the slogan ;)

I guess you need to explain it to me again. :( I'm no English text-writer/author.
My dictionary has several translations for "butt", the most reasonable are for "butt [Amer.] [coll.]" and "butt [sl.]". Reverse-translations are inconsistent, too.

Butt is (in this case) the part of Your body that You sit on. To kick somebody's butt means something like defeat easily or be superior than that somebody/something.
