No, 'jabber' should not appear in the url. psi-im is fine. I don't have a preference about tld, but .org seems the best suited (don't know about price).

www.psi.org would be nice, but it's already taken <_<

About those TLDs - there are more TLDs for each country (like .pl, .ru, .de) and these seven TLDs are second level domains then (like .edu.pl, .org.pl).

the only doubt i have is the "im" in www.psi-im.org

Is Psi really _only_ an instant messanger? Or will it remain to be one?
What about VoiP for examlpe? Isn't this already more than just IM?

Hmm.  Yes, Psi is only an instant messenger.  And even VOIP when you think about it, will be an extension of it, not a total replacement.  That's my $0.02 anyway.
