If I have a jabber account that doesn't have a vcard set then the 'user info' dialog pops up on login.

If I add some details it stops happening, then if I remove all the details from the vcard it starts again.

Enabling or disabling the 'get vcard when becoming online' option doesn't make any difference.

No, it's old feature. And there was a bug in 0.9.1, and possibly 0.9, that stopped vCard dialog from popping up.

Just specifying your nickname would be enough to stop it from popping, and will provide some useful info for users wanting to add you in their roster.

For one person that's fine, but it would confuse my users - they wouldn't know what it was or where it was coming from.  We don't have any need for vcards internally.

If you have a direct access to server, you could run a small and simply script to fill some field on all users' vCards.

if you want to be completly anonymous don't use IM and stay at your house, curtains closed !!!

That's not difficult to put just one thing in the fields of the vcards.

Great! maybe next wonderful feature of psi will be to fill out the personal questionnaire ?;)  If there was a fine working bug in 9.1 so let's make it an option.
