I have the impression international users want to help offer new PSI in their local languages, but the process (sorry dont mean to be rude) doesnt seem very well organized. Cant you guys please manage this? There are many brasilian users willing to update the translation.

The bad thing is you guys put the new version for download and it doesnt have portuguese. Actually languages link says "Soon"... Maybe keep the 0.10 available (even because you can get the lang file from there and use it in 0.11).

Great, thanks a lot. Maybe a way to organize so that the people interested in helping to translate can easily participate, maybe a new section in the Forum for this and you guys could contact the people that translated 0.10 and see what languages already have people working, etc...

Brasilian portuguese for example, do you know the status?

For now PSI comes only with english and czech? :(

Strange, since 0.10 translation works and had so many languages, really was not possible to release more languages?

You can send the langpack to me at hal@halr9000.com.  Please include the .qm, .ts, and localized instructions on how to install (html preferred).

Thanks, Hal. Lets hope with next version we get more languages in the installer. Can you check with programmers if this is planned?

Also, I noticed one place where it seems not translated.

When registering your username for a gateway like MSN/AOL just the part "type your screen name" or so is not in portuguese. You know if this is translatable?

Actually, after seeing some translations being updated frequently (and also others appearing after release), I'd like to have some kind of language auto-update (or at least intuitive download link) in Psi. But this won't be in 0.12 yet, of course.

I guess that this text comes from your transport. Could you check in XML console?

Well, Im happy that you guys plan to have all languages in the default installer, right?

About the non translated item, how do I activate the XML console again, sorry, I forgot.

When I ask to add an ICQ user for example

It shows everything in portuguese, EXCEPT "Enter the user's UIN", only this text is in english.

Right click on account and select XML Console option.

"Enter the user's UIN" is sent by your server (or rather by your transport).
The best thing to do now is to contact msn transport author to send messages in appropriate language (detected by using xml:lang attribute). And then help the author to translate them ;)
